Giant Wolf model preview from Maxmini
The rumoured giant wolf model from Maxmini has proven to be true, with Przemas revelaing a preview of their upcoming kit. I couldn't hazard a guess what to use these for *wink*.
From his announcement:
Finally I can share first preview of the giant wolf set we`re working on:

Creating Pre-Heresy marines – part 2c: Mark I Power Armour
“How long should you try? Until.†- Jim Rohn
This is the third and final modeling part of the Mark I armour tutorial and quite a hefty article too, but I wanted to bring it to conclusion.
To recap where we left off, our Mark I power armour requires arms, shoulder pads, a backpack and some final details.
Creating Pre-Heresy marines – part 2b: Mark I Power Armour – Chainmail
Mark I armour is quite an undertaking. I applaud anyone who takes on the challenge of building them, whether they use my method or not. Without pursuing means of batch producing these marines, you're going to need the patience of a saint to amass a sizeable force!
Optimism aside, I present you the second installment of the Mark I tutorial. Here I show you how I've never sculpted chain mail before! The shoulders and fine detail will have to wait for a third installment as they layered pads have proven to be a slow process.
Pre-Heresy players – are we codex criminals?
As a player of pre-Heresy marine armies, I, and many of you, have to fight a struggle to justify the use of the Codex we deem most suitable for our legion, lest we be labelled all sorts of fashionable names! I find it somewhat amusing that we are accused of jumping upon bandwagons or riding the power creep of newly released codices. Are we supposed to sit back and let them gather a little dust before daring to write a list? I chose to represent myself as the Warmaster's finest legion, the Sons of Horus, so I refuse to sit in the shadows and hide my secrets (Yes, I'm talking about you, El'Johnson). I will readily admit I want a strong list of heroic marines to represent my army. Is this a crime?
Creating Pre-Heresy marines – part 1b
Due to request, I've completed the paint job for the Pre-Heresy marine featured in part 1. For the less eagle-eyed amongst you, he's painted as a Sons of Horus legionnaire.
