Removing hobby accidents from your clothes

I thought for my first post I'd write something practical and I was prompted after I dropped my brush on my new top the other night while painting some Dark Angels.  My somewhat abandoned Blog is called "It'll never come out in the wash" and sadly for a long time this seemed true of acrylic paints.  However help is at hand and to prove it, I've documented a little experiment.

Creating Pre-Heresy marines – part 2

As part 1 was well received, I am quite hyped about producing more tutorials and extending the existing guide. A few questions have been asked in response to part 1 which I shall first address:

I do intend to paint the model created in part 1. I don't intend to produce a guide for painting the model, but showing the finished item is a great way to round off the article.

Creating Pre-Heresy marines – part 1

There is no definite way to create or modify Pre-Heresy marines. We have some guides of concept from Games Workshop with their models and illustrations, but these are varied with every instance. Collected Visions, while offering a wealth of imagery and information, presents an often conflicting representation of armour and composition.

Product review: Outcast – Grizzled Heads

Welcome to the first MyWargame product review!

Hailing from a new company, Outcast Wargames, the Grizzled Squad Leader Heads set is a pack of 5 human heads suitable for 25-28mm miniatures. At a cost of £2.50, the 5 heads come to 50p each. This equates to 10-30p more than buying a plastic head from a bitz store but a good ~30p less than other custom stores such as Maxmini. For a selection of unique and varied heads it is easily justified, if only to break up the monotony of your troopers' faces!

Wargame Acronyms

Well therein lies the problem - not everyone immediately knows your choice of abbreviations and acronyms. Should they make an effort to because you have chosen to speed up your dialog by using them? That's your choice, but for those that do, here is a list to help get you along.
