Thanks Neil

I've only played one game with them and I feel I rather mis-used them.

Queek headtakers guard might be pricey but makes them at least a reasonable combat unit, unfortunatley I completley forgot about thier enhanced stats when they actually got there. I also pretty much allowed them to be flanked in a stupid move by me, ultimatley seeing the unit broken and run down (including Queek).

That move probably lost me the game, victory points wise.

From a modelling point of view, really varied in detail and equipment, lovley models, totally spoiled by the way they fit together. They would have gone for the arms they used for the Empire halberds for example, both arms fitted to the haft of the weapon, slide them either side of the body. Gluing hands to wrists is always a pain in the backside.

I am told we are getting more hits regarding the hellpit and we dont even have an article...tonight I think I shall write something up and let the beast loose.

Ah more rats, excellent!

Interesting to see someone paint their clanrats as they are supposed to be - varied! I get into the bad habit of making them really rather regimented. Whitehorn commented on mine needing a good wash of brown as well so I might be doing a 'back to the (hell)forge' article on my clanrats in future.

The magnitised bell is an excellent suggestion and well executed job by you, well done.

Interesting to read about the stormvermin, but to be honest I am not keen on them tactically at all (and I have 20 already I never use). I'd love to hear how you get on with them, but I fear they are just as easy to shoot as clanrats but cost more!
