How about some more techno wotsits on the vehicles, sensor arrays, electro coils, a servitor of some kind etc. I got the impression from the DM novel that there were few standard designs - each was a bit mad/chaotic. In many ways it reminds me of the battle scenes in Star Wars:Attack of the Clones, a mad mechanical army full of whirly gizmos.

Excellent mate, I'm getting quite envious of some of these pack vehicles I'm seeing across the web.

I wanted to give them a feel of being veterans of many arid, dry battlefields. Martian deserts and the like. The problem with that is red dust on red paint. I'll try and get some orange dust across the tracks, but certainly avoiding mud!

Im lovin the pre-heresy feel to your tanks, Id personally avoid any mud-like weathering and go for rusty rivets and exhaust fume streaks and yeah hazard stripes would rock. i dunno what the real models are like but from the photos id give the symbols another coat of skull white to bring them out more.

a few areas of chipped paint would be good too kinda like how you drybrushed the edges. that will break up the 'empty spaces' a bit too.
this is gonna be a sweet army when its done :)
