Continuing and concluding the pre-Herey power armour series, this is the second part of Creating pre-Heresy marines: mark V Power Armour.

The second part of this tutorial shows how to make power cables for the thigh plates and a quick method of adding studs to the whole model.
Competition: Heresy Online – painting and converting

Competition: Dave Taylor miniatures – Blood Pact
Another slightly late announcement!
Dave Taylor is celebrating 500 followers at his brilliant blog with a competition to design a Blood Pact tattoo for his arm! The deadline is February 28th and you can check out the full details in his blog post.
The prizes are a signed copy of Blood Pact from Dan Abnett and a scratchbuilt and painted AT-70 Reaver by Dave himself! Additional prizes may be added later.
Review : Space Ork bodies from Micro Art Studio
Due to some silly accidents recently (even after 20 years of using a craft knife its easy to slip...) my painting and scenery projects have not progressed as quickly as I had hoped, so to break the silence, something completely different.
A good friend of mine collects space orks and was keen to put together some nice looking freebooters/flash gitz for his army. Thanks to Whitehorn's list of alternative suppliers, Jim (a member of this very website) was able to source an interesting selection of bits to create his flashy freebooters with.
