Painting Space Marine Legions – Alpha Legion

The model used for this tutorial was built in a previous tutorial - Mark V power armour: Part A | Part B.

Alpha Legion, unsurprisingly, have very little pre-heresy artwork. True to their nature, they are a very secretive Legion andseem to be camera shy. From the artwork we do have, they seem to be predominantly in mark IV and V power armour. Being the last legion to be established, it makes sense that they don't have access to earlier marks of armour.

Secrets of the Third Reich Spider Tank

This is a little too fun to not repost! Secrets of the Third Reich have released some pictures of new model previews. Amongst them is the Soviet Spider Tank.

I haven't had the chance to play the game itself, but as an aspiring 'Tech Magos' this model presents some very nice components to use for conversions. Insectomorphic tanks anyone?

Judging by the scale shot (28mm I assume) the legs on the tank should be compatible with 40k vehicles.
