Rusty Dice is back!
After an intensive 6 month drive into the pre-heresy hobby, I had taken a long overdue break, coupled with some personal issues that I shall not bore you with.
I have re-found my gaming mojo and intend to get back up to speed, particularly with the dawn of 8th edition Warhammer next month. The next Age of the Emperor event is also on the horizon and my ticket is paid for. The dedication of buying into this early should hopefully provide me the motivation to fix up my next army. This leads onto the post title:
After the success of a TGC member's army being nominated for best army whilst including other TGC members' work, an idea to pusposely build a combined army arose. If we could all pull together and produce a few models each, we could create an entire extra army between us for the next campaign.
With swift debate and a landslide poll, the legion to be represented was determined - Raven Guard, notably Istvaan survivors.
Alas, the siege is over. The walls held strong against the relentless attacks of heretics. Many heroes were born and slain across two days of furious battle, fought across the torn Imperium.
A fun weekend was had by all, particularly the White Scars. They claimed strongest task force, holding off the combined might of World Eaters, Iron Warriors, Daemons and my own Dark Mechanicum for the weekend.
