Age of the Emperor 2011 announced

Today, Ulfhedin officially announced the return of the popular Age of the Emperor campaign series. From his post:

October 22nd and 23rd 2011 will see the return of the Age of the Emperor campaign weekends at Warhammer World.

Before this massive project gets underway I thought it would make sense to get the input of TGCers as to what they would like to see in these new AotE weekends.

What you can do:

1) Post your top 10 wishlist for warzones, storyline, characters, rulings, etc… here. My oath of moment is that whatever the common themes are coming out of here WILL get inclusion in October’s event.

2) Visit and keep in contact with the community there. I’ll be dropping by here from time to time, but if you really need to shout about something, post it on the AotE boards there.

3) Free up that weekend and grab your ticket when the are released in January. A big reason for continuing these events beyond the original four weekend ‘miniseries’ is that Shroudfilm and a few others were very vocal in how much The Great Crusade players would welcome and support them. To be blunt: no support = no event!

If we can get everyone who had a great time last year to bring a mate this time around, not only will we have a stonking weekend, but we will have a solid community to drive these events forward EVERY year!

I don’t know about you, but the idea of a proper pre-heresy gaming event every year makes me just a little bit excited!

This is definitely one of those times when digging in to your pocket and spending a bit of cash can reap direct benefits. I’ve been to a couple of these events and the quality is out of this world.

The idea that they may become regular fixtures? Fantastic stuff.
