Spartan games have released previews of upcoming models (and rules) for Uncharteres Seas. Here we have 5 new ships and 5 'Above and Below' models - being either air-based or submerging units.
The 5 ships numbered below are as follows:
- Shroud Mages Flagship
- Shroud Mages Heavy Cruiser
- Bone Griffons Flagship
- Bone Griffons Heavy Cruiser
- Thaniras Elves Heavy Cruiser
The proposed rules for these can be found on their workbench.
Forgeworld previews – Ork Kil Blasta, Kil Bursta and Guard Valkyrie Skytalon
Forgeworld have teased us with preview of 3 lovely new models for the Imperial Guard and Orks.
Blood Angels – new models sighted
This image has popped up on various forums, apparently from the March WHite Dwarf, portraying some new Space Marine models are parts for the Blood Angels
The keen eyed will quickly notice just how many new parts are involved here:
- Modelled wings on shoulder pads - ideal for pre-Heresy Emperor's Children as well as Blood Angels.
- A new mark III helmet, easily converted to any legion by removing or adapting the tears on the mouth guard.
- Another mark IV helmet, similar to the Black Templar sprue.
- Mark V and VIII chest plates - Mk 8 is great for Mk II conversions!
- High-crested shoulder pad - useful for Custodes or Honor guard kit bashes.
Maxmini previews and releases – shoulder pads, bone swords, power hammers
Some exciting new previews and releases from Maxmini this month.
As always, these items are perfect for 28mm or similar scale models. Those hammers and shoulder pads look particularly useful for space marines!
Sourcing the Jabberslythe?
Today Games Workshop fully announced the release of the plastic Winged Nazgûl for their Lord of the Rings range. While a beautiful model in its own environment I cannot help but wonder where this model can see other uses.
The first idea to come to mind is the re-imagined Jabberslythe in the upcoming Warhammer Armies: Beastmen. What is a Jabberslythe? The name and description confirm the obvious - the classic Jabberwork.
