Age of the Emperor: Campaign packs updated
All campaign packs for the Age of the Emperor: Siege of Terra campaign have now been updated. These are not the final releases, but ideal for developing your initial army ideas, playtesting and providing feedback to The Tempus Fugitives. Please note that all tickets have sold out, but there's often a few up for trade from people who are unable to attend.
New Miniatures Review : Mantic Skeleton Regiment – part 2
As promised here's a painting guide for skeletons using the new Mantic figures.
This is the 20th figure that was missing from my previous post. Here's a shot of the front and back of the little chap and you'll see that he's quite nicely detailed, but not overly so for a rank and file figure.

Dark Mechanicus project – Chimera and StuG
Fresh from the forge, I've painted up a customised Chimera to fit with the StuG shown previously. The dark red will be repeated across the tanks to help keep the army looking uniform on the battlefield as there's going to be plenty of unique traits to each individual vehicle.
The obvious difference to the model is the exposed tracks, which I'm drawing inspiration from World War I vehicles (though most real world tanks are like this!). I've reconstructed the top of the vehicle a little to put the turret towards the back of the vehicle and drop those ugly lasgun portholes.
New Miniatures Review : Mantic Skeleton Regiment
It's possible Mantic has passed you by, if they have and you have an interest in 28mm fantasy wargaming then I suggest you check them out.
Very recently they launched their undead range and on Friday my skeleton and ghoul regiments turned up. I'm planning a couple more articles on these sets, so if what you see in this first post is of interest, make sure you come back.
So this is the box that I came home to on Friday. In size and feel its actually a lot like an old VHS video box! The overall look is very swish and as my wife said "I was quite impressed when I saw that".
